About Juventus

Juventus were founded in 1897 by a group of students in Turin and have worn black and white stripes since the early twentieth century. The club’s nickname, La Vecchia Signora, the Old Lady, is one of the best known in football, and Juventus have won more Serie A titles than any other club.

The club has played at the Allianz Stadium, opened in 2011, and won nine league titles in a row between 2011/12 and 2019/20, a record in Italian football. In Europe, Juventus have won the Champions League twice, in 1985 and 1996, and are one of the few clubs to have won all three major UEFA competitions.

Alessandro Del Piero is the club’s record goalscorer with 290 goals and holds the appearance record with 705 matches. Juventus play in black and white stripes, which earned the players the nickname Bianconeri.
